A 1790s Cape Cod in historic Lower Kingsburg, NS. Newly renovated with original details intact. Bright, sunny, near the beach and pond, coastal hiking trails and minutes from UNESCO heritage site, Lunenburg. Come, slow down and relax in this stunning setting.

The Space: Our newly renovated home dates back to the 1790s with all the charm and quirks you would expect from a house of this vintage. The house retains it’s original kitchen cooking hearth, wide plank floors and ceiling beams. Enjoy the views, the abundant wildlife and sound of the nearby surf.

Neighbourhood overview: There is wonderful hiking on nearby trails as well as miles of beach and ponds. Excellent dining is minutes away in Lunuenburg. The Ovens park – a collection of sea caves is also nearby. Bicycles can be rented in Lunenburg for your stay.

Getting around: There is no public transportation. Enjoy cycling, walking and kayaking. Numerous other fine towns, parks and beaches are within a short driving distance.

Other things to note: The property extends up the hill where deer are regular visitors – I have yet to walk up the hill and not found the beautiful herd of white tailed deer looking at me. There are panoramic ocean views from the top of the site – a perfect spot to sit with a beverage and enjoy the scenery, ocean breezes sunrises and sun sets.

Accommodations: The house sleeps 6: large bedroom (queen bed) upstairs, small bedroom (queen) upstairs, small bedroom with daybed that converts to a king upstairs, one full bath on the main floor, small sen (could be converted to sleeping), bright spacious living room with views, bright dining room with seating for 8, Kitchen with new appliances, back entry with washer and dryer.
